Masiix: The Name Above Every Name

Before there was a collection, there was a word. Masiix is the Somali word for Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One. Everything else in this brand points back to it.

We could have chosen something easier to say. We didn't, because a name that comes from somewhere carries weight. Meaning doesn't need translation to be felt.

The message came first.

Philippians 2:9 describes Christ as having the name that is above every name. That is a big thing to stitch onto a label, and we take it seriously. It is why the fabric is heavyweight, the construction is reinforced and the pieces are made to outlast the trend cycle. If the name lasts, the garment should try to keep up.

Masiix isn't apparel with a message stapled on. It is for people who are already redeemed, sealed and set apart, and want what they wear to say so quietly. You don't need to explain it to anyone. The name does that on its own.

Marked by purpose. Set apart by name. Built to last.
